How to Add Social Proof Counters to ActiveCampaign
Show contacts how many others have viewed or clicked an offer with a Sendtric social proof counter in your ActiveCampaign emails.
Show ActiveCampaign contacts a number that grows as more people engage.
A Sendtric social proof counter is an image with a live total in it, like "2,300 views". It counts every load of the image, or every click on a Sendtric Dynamic Link, and shows the latest total each time the email is opened.
You need the Sendtric Power or Enterprise plan to use social proof counters.

ActiveCampaign tracks opens and clicks for your reports. A counter puts a version of that activity in front of your readers, which helps when popularity is part of the pitch.
What you can do with social proof counters in ActiveCampaign
- Webinar and course promotion: count clicks on the registration link and show the total in later emails in the sequence.
- Product announcements: a views counter under the new feature or product image.
- Content newsletters: show how many readers have opened the featured guide.
- Lead magnets: "people downloaded this" next to the download button in a nurture automation, counted with a Dynamic Link.
How to add a social proof counter to ActiveCampaign
Step 1: Start from a preset
In Sendtric, open Social proof counters, click Create New and choose a preset like Fan Favorite for clicks or Trending Destination for views, or start from a blank canvas.
Step 2: Choose views or opens
On the Social Counter layer, set Count Source to Views or Opens. Opens counts clicks on a Dynamic Link, so it needs one. Use Minimum Count Threshold to keep the counter hidden, or show short fallback text, until the total is worth showing.
Step 3: Set the Dynamic Link
For clicks, enter a Destination URL beginning with https:// in Social Proof Settings and click Save.
Step 4: Copy the image code and the link
Click Copy Code for the image, and Copy URL under Your Dynamic Link URL if you set one up.

Step 5: Add both in the Email Designer
Drag the HTML block from Blocks into your email and paste the image code. Then select your Button block and use the Dynamic Link URL as its link. The counter image isn't a link on its own.
Describe the number honestly
The count is a running total, and repeat opens count again. Phrases like "2,300 views" or "people opened this" describe it accurately, while "people viewing right now" doesn't.
Reuse one counter across a sequence
Paste the same counter into several emails of an automation and they all add to one total, so the number keeps climbing as contacts move through.
ActiveCampaign Social Proof Counter FAQ
Which Sendtric plans include counters?
Power and Enterprise. See pricing.
Does it count unique people?
No. It counts every image load or every link click, including repeats by the same contact.
How quickly does the number change?
New activity appears within a minute or two. The number is set when the email opens and doesn't tick up while it's being read.
Can I start from a number other than zero?
Yes. Initial Seed adds a starting amount to the real count, for example to carry over a total from an earlier campaign.
Where can I find all the settings?
